Guacamole

I remember the first time I had guacamole. I couldn't stop eating it! I liked the sweetness, the citrousy tang, and the freshness of this green dip. It's such a perfect Sunday snack when you don't feel like eating big but some munchies would be great as companion to watch your favourite Sunday TV show. Share it with friends and family, chances are they're gonna totally love it!

Serves: 2 persons

Ingredients:

  • One avocado
  • One lime
  • 2 or 3 Shallots
  • One sprig of Cilantro
  • Half tomato
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:
  1. Halve the avocado, take out the seed, and scoop out the flesh.
  2. Cut the lime into 4 avoiding the centre seed part (see picture), and get the juices from the lime from these wedges.
  3. Peel the shallots and cut them into fine little dices.
  4. Take the leaves of the cilantro and finely slice them.
  5. Remove the seeds of the tomato and dice them small.
  6. Put all these in a bowl and crush them roughly until it looks like a proper guacamole dip.
  7. Add salt and pepper and mix well.
  8. Enjoy the guacamole with tortilla or chips.
